Ajman recorded 6,815 real estate transactions worth over ⃃10.8 billion in H1 2026, including 5,435 sales worth ⃃7.64 billion (July 2026).

Broker licence
The Department of Land and Real Estate Regulation issues a one-year real estate activity practice card to employees of registered offices who have passed an accredited real estate qualification programme and hold a valid criminal clearance certificate.
Foreign buyers
Amiri Decrees No. 7 and 8 of 2008 let non-GCC buyers own freehold land and property in areas designated by the Ruler, and also allow renewable 50-year leaseholds there. Popular freehold projects include Ajman One, Emirates City, Al Nuaimiya Towers and Al Rashidiya Towers.
Fees
The buyer pays a sale registration fee of 3% of the value (minimum ⃃3,000) for non-citizens, or 2% (minimum ⃃2,500) for UAE and GCC nationals.
