Real estate careers in Casablanca

Jobs, neighbourhoods, where to invest, agencies and training for agents in Casablanca. Morocco has no agent licence yet, and every sale is signed before a notary or adouls.

The market in Casablanca

Casablanca's average price per sqm rose about 60% between 2013 and 2023 according to the Housing Secretary of State (Bladi, January 2026), and city transactions grew 7.8% in 2025 (Bank Al-Maghrib and ANCFCC).

Casablanca is Morocco's economic capital and its deepest property market, from prime Anfa and the Casablanca Finance City business district to fast-growing southern suburbs such as Bouskoura and Dar Bouazza. Official data show prices up 0.9% and transactions up 7.8% in 2025, then prices up 0.5% and sales up 4.4% quarter on quarter in Q2 2026. Two state-backed new towns, Casa Anfa on the former airport and the Zenata eco-city, add supply, while the 115,000-seat Grand Stade Hassan II being built near Benslimane for the 2030 World Cup is pulling demand toward the north-east.

Foreign buyers
Foreigners buy freely in Casablanca, where most new and central stock is titled, which makes checks at the ANCFCC land registry simple. Casablanca Finance City companies can hire foreign staff without the ANAPEC certificate, which supports rental demand from expatriate executives in Anfa, Racine and CFC.
Agent licence
Morocco has no broker licence, no professional card and no entry exam: the job of real estate agent is not defined by any law. A draft law on the status of real estate agents (bill 36.17, 37 articles) was filed in February 2014 and sent to the Secretariat General of the Government in 2017; it would require a clean criminal record and either a two-year post-baccalaureate degree or five years of experience. The Housing Minister promised in October 2023 to relaunch it, but in March 2025 Bladi reported it was still not adopted, and in November 2025 Rabat agents told Le Brief the profession still had no legal framework. No adoption had been found as of October 2026. A voluntary national register counted about 1,312 agents in 2023 (Le360). Agents work under ordinary company and tax law, and the trade is dominated by informal intermediaries called samsars. The full guide

Where to invest in Casablanca

Where development is going, with the facts behind it. Not investment advice: check each project before you advise a client.

  1. Casa Anfa and Casablanca Finance CityA 350-hectare urban project on the former Anfa airport, led by CDG's AUDA, planned for about 100,000 residents with 2.3 million sqm of housing and a 50-hectare park; phase one was nearly complete and phase two serviced in September 2025. ReaConsult puts CFC apartments at about MAD 19,000 to 26,000 per sqm in mid-2026.
  2. Anfa Supérieur and Ain DiabThe city's top residential addresses, with apartments at about MAD 22,000 to 28,000 per sqm in mid-2026 (ReaConsult estimates), the natural target for executive, expatriate and MRE buyers.
  3. Bouskoura and Dar BouazzaSouthern suburbs where villas and gated projects meet first-time and family demand; the Casablanca-Settat agents' union said in March 2025 that new underpasses and road works were lifting their appeal, and Bouskoura apartments sit around MAD 9,000 to 13,000 per sqm (ReaConsult, 2026).
  4. Zenata eco-cityA 1,860-hectare new town between Casablanca and Mohammedia developed by CDG's SAZ, planned for 300,000 residents and 100,000 jobs, reached by the rebuilt coastal road and the Zenata motorway exit; the first homes went on sale in 2019 (AFD; Finances News).
  5. Benslimane and the Grand Stade Hassan II corridorThe 115,000-seat stadium, about 38 km from Casablanca, had MAD 9.7 billion of contracts committed and was due for completion in December 2027 (Medias24, May 2026); land prices around Benslimane rose sharply after the launch, and the Kenitra to Marrakech high-speed line will serve both the stadium and Mohammed V airport.
